The desk.
One editor surface from cause title to signature. The described instrument families are vakalatnamas, affidavits, legal notices, sale deeds, gift deeds, lease deeds, employment and service agreements, and NDAs.
SanadEx is a pre launch drafting workspace for Indian advocates. It prepares first drafts of routine instruments from a checksummed archive of primary source Indian law, traces citations to that archive, and refuses to draft when its sources are insufficient.
One editor surface from cause title to signature. The described instrument families are vakalatnamas, affidavits, legal notices, sale deeds, gift deeds, lease deeds, employment and service agreements, and NDAs.
A checksummed archive of Indian primary source law. Each entry carries a SHA256 hash and retrieval date. A scheduled drift sentinel rehashes the archive and writes an audit event when a source changes.
A clause inserted is a clause cited. Citations resolve to a section in a dated source before a draft is presented. A clause that cannot be anchored is returned as a gap.
It does not file, serve, communicate with the client, registrar, or court, or approve a document for use.
Counsel alone reviews, edits, signs, and sends any document. SanadEx has no sign off role. When an input is insufficient, the system returns the gap and retains an audit record.
| Input condition | Gate result | Evidence retained |
|---|---|---|
| Required source is absent or stale | Draft refused | Missing source and retrieval requirement |
| Citation cannot resolve to the pinned corpus | Clause withheld | Citation finding with reason |
| Finding severity is outside block, warn, or info | Record rejected | Database constraint failure |
Auditable checks run before model reasoning. A tiered review pipeline follows: five deterministic reviewers, then two model reviewers. Severity is constrained to block, warn, or info at the database boundary.
citation benchmark · v1
This is a pre launch fixture benchmark, not observed advocate use and not a claim about court outcomes. The set contains exactly 502 citation fixtures: 402 positive queries and 100 adversarial queries across eight attack types.
Pass gates. Precision at or above 98 percent. Recall at or above 85 percent.
Separate seed check. 4 of 4 on a six fixture seed band, assessed by one model judge. The 100 fixture judge benchmark is in flight. The seed result is not a production quality or legal outcome claim.
| Record | Verified band | Planned band | Architecture |
|---|---|---|---|
| Corpus jurisdiction band | 6 | 11 fee jurisdictions | 36: 28 states and 8 union territories |
| Instrument families described | 8 | Expansion follows source coverage | Same refusal contract |
| Review pipeline | 5 deterministic and 2 model reviewers | Same tier contract | Same tier contract |
The architecture reserves 36 jurisdictions. The verified corpus band carries six, with 11 fee jurisdictions in the planned band. Source coverage and refusal rules remain the gate for every addition. SanadEx remains pre launch.
Architecture, fixture evidence, refusal rules, and proposed pilot terms. Available only after a mutual NDA.
