About
Provenance, and the convictions that came with it.
Kinyoubi Atelier & Co. ships production software end to end. Engines, platforms, APIs, and the surfaces they live behind. Three streams feed the practice; they resolve into one way of working.
Lineage
The founder came to software through aerospace and seven years inside derivatives markets. The studio carries all three disciplines into every build, so the decisions at the core of a system and the decisions at its surface answer to the same standard.
01 · What feeds the practice
Aerospace engineering
Tolerances, failure modes, and the habit of treating a half built system as a hazard rather than a milestone.
Quantitative markets
Seven years inside Nifty and Sensex options. The discipline of being wrong with numbers attached, and of sizing a position to the evidence.
Production engineering
Software architecture and delivery. Systems that are operable, auditable, and handed off without us in the room.
02 · Operating convictions
The rules, in order.
- iinforms the rest
Sequencing over parallelism.
When the instinct is to run five lanes at once, we find the one that informs the others and build there first. Order is a design decision, not a project management afterthought.
- ii
Systems, not one offs.
Every deliverable is designed to be repeatable, auditable, and operable without us. We do not ship bespoke artefacts that die with the project.
- iii
Clarity is a deliverable.
If a document cannot explain itself, it has failed. If a codebase cannot be audited, it is a liability. Naming and documentation are not afterthoughts; they are shipped artefacts.
03 · How we build
A small team, shipping big systems.
We use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor) backed by a structured memory layer. The agent is the typist; the architect is the engineer. Every commit is reviewed; every decision lands in an ADR. The result is faster delivery without surrendering taste or rigour.
Across engagements we maintain an internal Skills Library of reusable workflow prompts, spanning brand and document generation, legal drafting, finance, regulatory research, automation, and model engineering. The library stays internal; the consistency it produces shows up in the work.
04 · Who we are not for
To save everyone time.
- Not a design or branding agency. We do not do logos, identity, or marketing sites as standalone work.
- Not staff augmentation. We do not place engineers on your team to work under your tech lead.
- Not a managed services provider. We hand off systems with runbooks; we do not run them.
- Not a generic machine learning consultancy. We build specific systems that use modern model APIs where they are the right tool.
If your scope fits inside one of those, there are other firms who do that work well. We are happy to recommend.
05 · Who runs this
Ankit Sahu.
The teams that get burned by software are not the ones that pick the wrong tool. They are the ones that ship half a system and call it done. We build the other half.
Came to software through aerospace and seven years inside derivatives markets. A career spent learning that incomplete systems break in expensive ways. Founded Kinyoubi Atelier & Co. to build the systems he wanted to find when he was the buyer.

The Kinyoubi umbrella.
Kinyoubi, the Japanese word for Friday (rest, completion, fresh beginning), is the umbrella name we use across four practices. The site you are on is the public surface of one of them.
