A concierge that reads the room.

Aika is the corner control on every page of this site. It is a small fast model carrying a long persona we wrote by hand. It answers what the studio does, grades the request with no salesmanship, and when a conversation is worth a person's time it hands the thread to /contact with a summary already written.

01 · What Aika is

A small model, a long persona.

The persona does the work.

The voice is not the model default. A written persona separates identity, voice rules, the honesty contract, lead grading, conversion routes, limits, discretion, and safety, then assembles at request time. The result is confessional, not promotional.

It grades the request.

Each thread is read as hot, warm, or cold. The grade decides whether Aika offers a call, a written handoff, or just a reading list.

Then it steps aside.

Aika does not close work. It qualifies, then routes a warm thread to a person with the context already gathered.

02 · The request path

Where the answer is made.

The widget does not think in the browser. Each turn is one request to a Cloudflare Worker that holds the key and proxies a single call to Claude Haiku. The reply carries a route directive the widget reads to offer a call, a message, or a case study. There is no tool layer and no protocol between the Worker and the model, just one message exchange per turn.

The Worker keeps a request counter and a 30 day transcript so we can sharpen the persona. Nothing else is stored, and the transcript is skipped in full if a conversation ever touches distress.

03 · The handoff

The summary travels with you.

When a thread is worth a person's attention, Aika does not ask you to repeat yourself. It opens /contact with a short summary of the conversation already in the message, so the studio reads the context before the first reply. You can also reach us at the same place without speaking to Aika at all.

The negative space.

  • Not running in your browser. The model runs on a worker.
  • Not a protocol or a tool layer. One message call per turn.
  • Not unrecorded. Conversations are kept 30 days, nothing else.
  • Not a salesperson. It qualifies, then hands you to a person.
