NIRF disclosures

Status

The National Institutional Ranking Framework, operated by the Ministry of Education, requires institutions to be operational for a minimum period before first submission. Vikram Dev University, having become operational on 1 June 2023, is preparing for its first NIRF data submission cycle.

Five parameters

NIRF ranks institutions on five broad parameters; each is broken down into sub-parameters.

• Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR): student strength, faculty-student ratio, qualifications, financial resources.
• Research and Professional Practice (RP): combined publications and citations, IPR, projects.
• Graduation Outcomes (GO): placement, higher studies, examination results, university examinations.
• Outreach and Inclusivity (OI): regional diversity, women, economically and socially challenged students, persons with disabilities.
• Perception (PR): academic peer perception, employer perception, public perception.

Forthcoming submissions

The first NIRF data submission for Vikram Dev University is targeted for the submission window of the eligible NIRF cycle. The Office of the IQAC is the coordinating cell for NIRF data preparation, in consultation with the Examinations Section, Accounts Section, and the Department-level coordinators for each discipline.

Per-cycle disclosures

When the University files its first NIRF data response, that response will be published on this page in full, in the file format specified by NIRF.
