Grievance redressal

Every student of Vikram Dev University and every student of an affiliated college has a right to be heard and to receive a reasoned response within statutory timelines. This page sets out the route.

Internal grievance: students

For grievances against the University or any affiliated college, file at the University Grievance Cell. Resolution within thirty days; escalation if unresolved.

How to file a grievance

  1. State the grievance clearly

    In writing, with name, programme, college, contact details, and the relief sought. Anonymous complaints are accepted but cannot be communicated back.

  2. Submit to the appropriate cell

    By email, the online form below, or by post to the Office of the Registrar.

  3. Acknowledgement

    You will receive an acknowledgement within three working days, with a unique grievance number.

  4. Action and reply

    The cell investigates and replies with a reasoned order within thirty days from the date of acknowledgement.

  5. Escalation

    If unresolved or if the reply is unsatisfactory, escalate to UGC e-Samadhaan or CPGRAMS, as below.

Interim posture. Online intake is being deployed under the University's e-Governance roll-out. Until the Office of the Registrar publishes the secure portal, the form below opens a pre-filled message in your email client addressed to [email protected]. Send the message to lodge the grievance; you will receive an acknowledgement number within three working days.
