Suo motu disclosure: seventeen heads
Information that the University is required to publish on its own motion, refreshed annually and on every material change.
- Particulars of the organisation, functions, and duties. See About the University.
- Powers and duties of officers and employees. See the University Statutes and the Schedule of Delegation, available on application.
- Procedure followed in the decision-making process, including channels of supervision and accountability. Governance through the Senate, Syndicate, Academic Council, and Finance Committee. Minutes of meetings are available on application, subject to redactions permissible under Section 8 of the RTI Act.
- Norms set by the University for the discharge of its functions. Academic Calendar, Examination Reform Code, Affiliation Manual, Procurement Manual.
- Rules, regulations, instructions, manuals, and records held or under the control of the University. Statutes, ordinances, regulations, and manuals as approved by the Senate. PDFs available on application; an indexed catalogue is published below.
- Statement of categories of documents held. Student records, faculty records, examination records, financial records, procurement records, governance minutes, RTI registers.
- Particulars of any arrangement that exists for consultation with members of the public. Public-grievance window, IQAC stakeholder meetings, grievance-redressal portal.
- Statement of the boards, councils, committees, and other bodies. Composition and meetings of statutory bodies; many are open to inspection by members of the public on application.
- Directory of officers and employees. Available on application; for security and privacy reasons, only the post-wise directory is published online.
- Monthly remuneration received by each of its officers and employees. The pay-band schedule and the post-wise pay matrix are published. Individual salary slips are personal information and are excepted under Section 8(1)(j).
- Budget allocated to each agency. Annual budget statement, audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India and published in the Annual Report.
- Manner of execution of subsidy programmes, including amounts allocated. Scholarships are routed through OASIS and NSP; aggregate disbursement statistics are published in the Annual Report.
- Particulars of recipients of concessions, permits, or authorisations granted by the University. Affiliation orders are published; scholarship rolls are published in aggregate without identifying personal information.
- Information available in electronic form. The current website at www.vikramdevuniversity.ac.in; data published in machine-readable form where applicable.
- Particulars of facilities available to citizens for obtaining information, including the working hours of a library or reading room, if maintained for public use. The Office of the Registrar provides a public-facing window from 11:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday.
- Names, designations, and other particulars of the Public Information Officers. See PIO details.
- Other information as may be prescribed. Annual reports, audit observations, NAAC and AISHE submissions where applicable.
